This is an antique carved bone needle case…porthole design…believed to be English…circa 1880.
The needle case is about 3 ¾” long…carved bovine bone with porthole design…top screws on and off very well.
The needle case is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks, chips or other damage, other than possibly a repair of hairline crack of the thread area…nice mellow patina.
