Antique Wood Sewing Needle Holders / Cases (Lot of 2) Hand Carved and BOYE

Antique Wood Sewing Needle Boxes / Cases (Lot of Two):
Item I: Antique Wood Sewing Needle Box is Hand Carved.  This little treasure is just 1/2 inch wide and 1 3/4 inches tall.  The lid was carved with a flat top pyramid design.
A feature I found interesting is that one side of the needle box is flat, perhaps to shake a needle out easily.
There is a small crack in the lid that does not go all the way through.
Item II: Antique BOYE Manufacturing Company Round Tube Needle Case with Patent Date January 26, 1909.  The top is numbered 16 and the cylinder has maker information.  This sewing needle holder is approximately 2 ½ inches tall.
Pledge restoring oil was recently applied to both cases.
As described and shown in the photographs, these sewing needle boxes / cases are in excellent to very good condition.
