    Description

    This is a large turned wood, 2 piece Barrel Shaped Sewing Needle Case, made in the late 1800's.  It's faintly marked "Co. NY" on the inside of the base sleeve along with a small lable shard (see image).  The barrel is nicely turned with two bands plus the end turnings.
