14 karat yelow gold French needle case with removable, slip mount cap.  The piece weighs 3.1 pennyweights and measures 2 3/4 inches long and 1/2 inch across the decorative cap end and 3/8 inch across the shaft.  Marked on inside shaft lip with the French marks   There are several super tiny nicks on the shaft, and several tiny black tarnish spots on the shaft, otherwise in good condition.
