Nice antique Mauchline ware needle case. Still has its
original
box it came in. It has a picture of Dryburgh Abbey on the top. The inside has the original blue silk lining with sockets to hold needle packets and cloth to hold pins. Shine is in
fragile
condition. Back Reads: Cedar Wood Warranted
to
Have Grown Within
the
Nave
of
Dryburgh Abbey, Close
by
the
Tomb of Sir W. Scott. It is in good condition with no
cracks,
and it
measures (1
1/4") across x (2.25") tall when closed. Hard one to find. Nice addition to your collection.
