Vintage Dependable Needle Book Ship City Harbor Day Train Mountains Night Scenes

OFFERED ... an antique "DEPENDABLE" needle book, Art Deco period, with different landscape scenes on front and back sides.  One side is a daytime city harbor landscape scene with a family enjoying the view from a ship's balcony.  The other side is a nighttime mountainous landscape scene with the family enjoying the view from a train.  The book originally had a complete assortment of 29 needles, nickel plated and rust proof.  There are five packets enclosed that still retain several needles wrapped up in thin aluminum foil.
There are pretty labels on each packet that have a horseshoe and a dressmaker.  Printed on the labels is "Trade Mark" on top of horseshoe, and "Dressmaker Silversteel Needle Sharps" with different numbers.  "JAPAN" is also printed at bottom of each label.  Also, a little hard to read, but inside at top, between two packets it says, "Complete Assortment ... Nickel Plated ... Rust Proof."
I have not disturbed the foil and have only opened a couple of packets so as not to disturb the condition of the book.  Paper would be easy to tear.  Needless to say, it has been well preserved.  "JAPAN" is printed on the spine of the book and well as on each packet "29 Needles" is printed on right bottom corner of daytime scene.  Minor surface/edge wear, of course, and one small crease.  A great piece for the collector.
